About Mr. Singer

At 5 years old, "I realized I loved music and that's all I wanted to do. God gave me a gift," says Keith. His first instrument was alto saxophone at the age of eight. At nine years old, he started the piano, then ukulele at 15, and then the guitar at 18.

 

He played in bands in the midwest until 1976, starting at age 16. In 1979, Mr. Singer joined up with the Matthew Band who toured the midwest and Michigan, playing with people known around the world:  Honey Tree, Scott Wesley Brown, Mike Warnke...

 

Mr. Singer studied at Ball State University, majoring in music. He also studied under Dr. Cecil Jeeson for four years. He plays in church bands, and currently plays saxophone at Latter Rain Fellowship.

 

He teaches bass guitar, delcimer, harmonica, saxophone, piano, ukulele, acoustic guitar, and electric mandolin.  He has taught at three music stores before settling at B&J Music (George Kimbill Music in Anderson, Indiana; Larry Arnolds Music Store in Anderson, Indiana; The Potters Cup Coffee House in Williamsport, Indiana).
